There are decisions that simply feel right from the outset, and what seems the simplest often turns out to be the most correct.
 
In the north of León (Spain), where vineyards flourish amidst cold air and soils steeped in history, there exists a different approach to cultivating the land: unhurried, understated, allowing each variety to find its own rhythm. From this emerges Full Flap Blanco, part of a range that seeks not to conform to the established norms, but to chart its own course, as if the wine itself knows that sometimes the best course is not to land too soon.
 
Behind this endeavour is Bodegas Vilano, a winery with deep roots in the Ribera del Duero, which here permits itself a lighter, almost gentle deviation. In this project, the albarín grape—a native white variety from the north—serves as the starting point for something more liberated, fresher, more instinctive, as if the winery lowers the volume of solemnity to allow another part of the landscape to speak.
 
Full Flap Blanco presents with vibrant fruit, a blend of tropical and citrus notes, with a clean sensation reminiscent of cold air entering through an open window. There is also a subtle herbal undertone, like aromatic plants brushed without intention to dominate. On the palate, it is broad yet agile, with a gentle entry and a slight final tension that extends the journey without weighing it down, leaving a fresh sensation, almost of continuous movement.
