Gaia Ritinilis Nobilis Retsina Roditis is a white wine made by Gaia Wines with the Roditis variety in the D.O. Retsina Roditis, in Greece.

Founded in 1994, Gaia Wines owns two modern wineries in two of the most interesting and promising PDOs in Greece. The project aims to enhance the quality of native Greek varieties and showcase them on the international market.

Gaia Ritinilis Nobilis Retsina Roditis comes from vines planted in shallow clay and limestone soils. Lying on the slopes of the hills surrounding Corinth in the Peloponnese region, these vines are cultivated using traditional agriculture and the harvest takes place at the optimum point of ripeness.

The Gaia Ritinilis Nobilis Retsina Roditis grapes are pressed as soon as they reach the winery. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. A carefully calculated amount of Pinus Halepensis resin is then added to the must and finally the wine is removed leaving the resin at the bottom.  

Gaia Ritinilis Nobilis Retsina Roditis is an excellent Greek retsina wine that is made in a way that combines tradition and modern technology. The result is an elegant and refreshing wine with a perfect balance between pine and grape.

Gaia Ritinilis Nobilis Retsina Roditis 2019 is an aromatic white wine with citrus fragrances, pine notes and touches of resin. On the palate it is fresh, broad and elegant.
